These are some of the prints i created when using inks to form different kinds of patterns. For the monochrome ones, i used sponges and cloths dipped in black ink to print different kinds of shapes and textures, then printed them onto white paper and card.
To continue with the texture making experimentation, i also made the coloured designs using wallpaper paste mixed with acrylic paint. I layered this micture onto paper, then used cut up crdit cards and plastic cutlery to carve out shapes and patterns.
For the image on the right, i did a couple of these designs, then ripped them up and wove them together, creating a more creative outcome.
